Food was excellent brisket so tender. Beans and slaw were great too. Staff was amazing one brought out a small bowl of brisket for my Service Dog. He 1st asked if he could have rib bones I said no thanks. He shows up with a small bowl of what he called scraps but it looked good enough for a sandwich. Price for the meal very reasonable. I bought a pound of brisket to take home.
One of the best burger and fries I've had. The meat was so good, like ground steak and the fries were unique, crispy but not greasy. I also got some sliced turkey to go and it was out of this world. It was not wet, rather dry and broke off when you picked it up, rare in today's world. Such a homey atmosphere, they really please.
This place is too good to tell everyone about cuz then we have to share. Incredible meat counter and much that can't be found anywhere else. I think the brisket is better than Texas brisket, which I've eaten most of my life. Great food with lots to explore.
What a great variety of food to choose from. We got the Sampler plate. It is enough food for two or two nights. Only wish I would have asked for more sauce because that stuff's good. Chose the baked potato salad and that did not disappoint. It was so very yummy.
This was our first visit, and it smelled great! The meat selection looked top-notch. We bought a couple of items, and the young lady at the counter convinced us to get a BBQ sandwich, and it was great. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we will be back!
